Signs of Anxiety

Anxiety is a natural response when your safety feels threatened. You may feel this in different ways;

  • Worrying about the worst happening, how will you cope and what if you can't cope?
  • Feelings like dread, irritability, self-consciousness or fear.
  • Physical sensations like losing focus, upset stomach, light-headed, heart racing, hot and bothered, disturbed sleeping or eating patterns.

When anxiety is causing distress and affecting your daily life, counselling can help. I can help you find ways to manage the symptoms and try to understand where they are coming from so we can get to the cause and treat it.
